Ben Nevis Whisky

Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery can be found at Lochy Bridge, at the foot of Ben Nevis; Scotland's highest mountain. A coastal distillery in the Western Highlands, Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery draws its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn which originates from two high pools; Coire Leis and Coire na'Ciste. The Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery was founded in 1825 by John McDonald, a descendant of a ruler of the Scottish Kingdom of Argyll. After John McDonald's death in 1856, ownership was passed down to his son Donald.
