Glengoyne 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Glengoyne 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is a replacement for Glengoyne's superb 17 year old and it appeared in their revamped range in late 2012. This is the result of 18 long years; a generous proportion of first-fill Sherry casks and of the patience Glengoyne take over the slowest distillation in Scotland.

Colour: Light amber with bright gold.
Nose: Light spice with apricot, essence of vanilla and honey.
Palate: Rich and nutty with chewy fruits which add depth and sweetness. Otherwise, a dry spiced palate. Struck match comes through as the final spice.
Finish: Medium, with malted caramel and prickly sweet spice.
