Tomintoul WhiskyTomintoul Whisky Distillery was founded in 1964. With the addition of two extra stills in 1974, the bottling of Tomintoul Single Malt Whisky began. The Tomintoul Whisky Distillery produces a peated malt, and a vintage malt. The distillery is now owned and operated by Angus Dundee Distillers, which also owns the Glencadam Distillery. In 2009 Tomintoul Whisky entered the Guinness Book of Records by producing the largest bottle of whisky in the world, containing 105.3 litres of 14 year old Tomintoul Malt Whisky.
