Dalmore 25 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Dalmore 25 Year Old Single Malt Whisky was introduced in 2013. As usual with the Dalmore Distillery, this fine expression has benefitted from a detailed maturation process. Firstly, the Dalmore 25 was matured in American white oak casks and after that, it was divided by hand into 25 year old Palomino Fino Sherry butts. Then, it was put into 1980's first-fill Bourbon casks. These whiskies were then married together in Bourbon barrels and finished in Portuguese Tawny Port pipes.

Nose: Vanilla, figs and orange peel.
Palate: Sherry marinaded raisins and warm chocolate truffles.
Finish: Rewarding; Demerara sugar and dark chocolate.
