Lochlea Sowing Edition

The first of Lochlea’s seasonal batch releases, Sowing Edition reflects the crucial time on the farm when the seed is being sown to grow the barley for Lochlea’s whiskies. Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks, Sowing Edition is creamy, sweet, and fruity.

Nose: Lots of vanilla pod and biscuity notes as it opens, leading into peach and white grape.

Palate: Vibrant and slightly zesty with green apple and citrus, balanced by buttery malt and a touch of toasted nut.

Finish: Lingering honeyed sweetness.
