Daftmill 2010 Winter Release

**PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY. THANK YOU. THIS IS A BALLOT FOR A BOTTLE OF DAFTMILL 2010 WINTER RELEASE WHISKY. WE WILL BE GETTING TWO BOTTLES INTO STOCK IN LATE JULY 2023. IF YOU WISH TO ENTER THE BALLOT FOR A CHANCE TO BE ALLOCATED ONE OF THE BOTTLES, PLEASE COMPLETE THE CHECK OUT PROCESS BELOW. YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED UPON COMPLETING THE CHECK OUT PROCESS. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE SECURED A BOTTLE; IT MEANS YOU HAVE ENTERED THE BALLOT TO HOPEFULLY BE ALLOCATED A BOTTLE WHEN THE BALLOT IS DRAWN IN EARLY AUGUST 2023. IN THE PAST, WE HAVE FREQUENTLY SPENT TIME CHASING BALLOT WINNERS FOR PAYMENT, ONLY TO NEVER RECEIVE A REPLY OR TO BE TOLD THAT THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR MIND. TAKING PAYMENT UP FRONT MEANS THE EXERCISE OF US CHASING BALLOT WINNERS FOR PAYMENT ISN'T NECESSARY. WE ALSO THINK THIS PROCESS HELPS REDUCE THE NUMBER OF OPPORTUNISTIC ENTRANTS, MEANING MORE TRUE WHISKY ENTHUSIASTS HAVE A CHANCE OF WINNING. THE WINNERS AND UNSUCCESSFUL ENTRANTS WILL BE ADVISED VIA E-MAIL ONCE THE BALLOT HAS BEEN DRAWN. UNSUCCESSFUL ENTRANTS WILL HAVE THEIR TRANSACTIONS REFUNDED IN FULL AFTER THE BALLOT HAS BEEN DRAWN. This is the much anticipated 2010 Winter Release from Daftmill Distillery, which is owned and operated by the Cuthbert family. The barley variety Publican was grown in the 43 acre field and was harvested on the 28th and 29th August 2009. It was then dried and stored on the farm to be malted in Alloa during the summer of 2010. The whisky that went into this bottling came from twenty five first fill ex Bourbon barrels, which were filled in November and December 2010. It was then stored in Daftmill's dunnage warehouse until bottling at 46% abv in 2023. The patience and dedication to their craft has garnered the distillery hordes of dedicated fans, including collectors and connoisseurs.

Nose: Apple, cereal, honeydew, almonds and marzipan.

Palate: Creamy, gently sweet, orchard fruits, lemon, honey and almonds.

Finish: Medium, warm, zest, vanilla.
