Bowmore 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky was launched relatively recently in January of 2007. It was a replacement for the Bowmore 17 year old.
Nose: Pungent with citrus and stewing fruit. Hints of wet wood and a very soft smoke.
Palate: Spirited at first, then giving way to perfume, fruit and plum jam. A good sweetness with peat smoke and grape.
Finish: Medium with a Seville marmalade, light blossom and a sensation of peat.
