Glen Albyn 1976 Single Malt Whisky

Glen Albyn 1976 Single Malt Whisky is a beautiful whisky from Inverness's closed Glen Albyn distillery. Distilled in 1976 and bottled by Elgin independent Gordon & Macphail. Very nice.

Colour: Warm gold.
Nose: Rich Sherry influences, with hints of raisins and ripe and ready banana. Gentle floral notes with summer berries and old fashioned lemonade.
Palate: Peppery and fruity with a sensation of lavender and fresh green apples. Slightly salty which transforms into lingering cream.
Finish: Long and sweet.
