Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Whisky was launched at the end of 2014. Founder's Reserve will replace the 12 year old in many of Glenlivet's markets. The whisky is named after distillery founder, George Smith.
Nose: Some dates, orange zest, toffee, hints of chocolate raisins.
Palate: Fruity, then sweet, then milk chocolate and apple turnovers.
Finish: Medium with toffee, a little oak and sweet barley.
