Glenglassaugh Peated Torfa Single Malt Whisky

Glenglassaugh Peated Torfa Single Malt Whisky has been matured in ex Bourbon barrels and shows its hand at 20 phenol parts per million (the measure of peat present). Torfa is the old Norse word for peat and is suitably attached to this fine expression from Glenglassaugh; their first peated single malt whisky.

Colour: Pale straw.
Nose: Gentle smoke with peat notes; spicy too.
Palate: Superbly balanced palate; not too smoky - notes of melon, apple and sweet barley.
Finish: Lovely length with smoke lingering.
