Laphroaig 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is the original Laphroaig, distilled the same way today as when it was invented over 75 years ago. In making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour.
Nose: Smokey with strong peat notes.
Palate: Seaweed, oak with crushed black pepper and chilli.
Finish: Long and drying; a big finish.
