Speyburn 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky was released to celebrate Bobby Anderson's 18 years as distillery manager. It was matured in both American and Spanish Oak casks. Imbued with lots of complex flavour notes, this really is a very good dram.
Colour: Dark golden.
Nose: Sweet toffee, sugared almonds and chunky tropical fruit.
Palate: Creamy dark chocolate, toffee, gentle oaky spiciness.
Finish: Long slightly smokey finish.
