Glenglassaugh Revival Single Malt Whisky

Glenglassaugh Revival Single Malt Whisky is the first expression produced by the recently re-opened Glenglassaugh Distillery. The distillery was closed in 1986 and production restarted in 2008. This is the first expression to be produced at the distillery since its reopening. The whisky is matured in a mixture of first fill and refill Bourbon casks. It is then finished in first fill Oloroso Sherry casks.

Colour: Deep gold.
Nose: Sherry, chocolate and slight honey notes.
Palate: Rounded and robustly bodied. Oranges, black cherries and chocolate with sherry and soft, spices.
Finish: Medium and warming.
