Tomintoul With A Peaty Tang Single Malt Whisky
70cl, 40% abv
Tomintoul With A Peaty Tang Single Malt Whisky was released in 2007 and has been made with peated malt barley to give it a deep smoky flavour. This makes Peaty Tang very unusual as most distilleries in the Speyside region do not use peat.
Colour: Rich gold.
Nose: Heathery smoke with gentle floral tones.
Palate: Gentle peat flavours that you would expected from an Islay whisky. There's with a hint of malty nuttiness and fruity sweetness, as you would expect from a Speyside whisky.
Finish: Lingering smoke with a peat and sweet tail note.
