Dalmore Whisky for Christmas

Last year, a lot of our customers and friends / family spent Christmas with Dalmore Whisky due to the fact they bought the Dalmore Whisky glass gift pack we were offering (for a very reasonable price!).

Dalmore Whisky

This year, we have another glass gift pack; Dalmore Whisky 15 year old with two Dalmore Whisky branded glasses. The Dalmore 15 year old is a very fine dram. Dalmore 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky spent twelve years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then had a three year finish in three different Sherry woods; Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem Oloroso. A robust and enticingly elegant spirit.

Established in 1839 and located in Alness, the Dalmore Whisky Distillery uses the waters of the River Alness to produce its Dalmore Single Malt Whisky. It sits on the Cromarty Firth overlooking the Black Isle, from which it takes its name. It is told that in 1263 a predecessor of the Clan MacKenzie saved King Alexander III from a rampaging stag whilst out hunting. In reward, the King allowed him to bear the Royal Emblem of a 12-pointed stag in his coat of arms. This features on the Dalmore Whisky bottles.

We have seen sales of Dalmore Whisky increase steadily over the past 12 months. The Dalmore Whisky Distillery produces a great range of whiskies; each with its own character and provenance. Stock of this very smart Dalmore Whisky glass gift pack is fairly limited. If you’re interested in giving someone a special gift this Christmas, have a look here at the full story of the gift pack.

We can send the gift pack direct to the lucky recipient on your behalf with a Christmas gift message, or we can send it direct to you for you to hand over. As they say… book early to avoid disappointment. Merry Christmas from everyone at Whisky Please.
