Glen Scotia 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is a delightful single malt from the Kintyre Peninsula. It is a luxuriously smooth Campbeltown single malt whisky which was aged in Bourbon casks for 18 years and then finished for 12 months in Oloroso sherry, which brings spicy and floral notes to the wonderful salted caramel character found in Campbeltown single malts.
Expect thick sweet toffee and citrus fruits, perfectly balanced with subtle notes of sea spray and spice.
Nose: Vanilla and dried fruits. Pepper notes too.
Palate: A melange of honey, marmalade, peach and spice notes.
Finish: Long, with wood and spice notes.
